CPP-ers preparing for the EU elections

Zagreb, 6th of December 2013 - Representatives of the CPP and the Academy, from 3rd to 5th December, participated in Sofia at a seminar organized by the European Liberal Forum and the German liberal Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom entitled "Preparations for the European elections: Regional training for European political activists in South Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans."

CPP participants were introduced to a series of political and communication strategy as the part of better preparation for the upcoming elections to the European Parliament. Also, lectures and workshops included a range of strategies to combat populism and nationalism in South Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans. By learning from each other's best practices, participants gained a deeper understanding of the challenges and practical advice to deal with the same. Moderators of the seminar were many MEPs from the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE). A three-day seminar took place under the baton of Peter Schröder, expert for campaign and political communication.

CPP and the Academy were represented by the team composed of Jozo Radoš, president of the CPP's Club, Stjepan Čuraj, president of CPP's Osječko-baranjska CO, Enriko Parlaj, Head Office of CPP's Varaždinska CO and Iva Žutić, vice president of the Youth Committee of the CPP.
