Delegation of New Kosovo Alliance party visited CPP's Academy

Zagreb, 13th of June – Local dignitaries of Kosovo's liberal party New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) have visited CPP's Political Academy where they were hosted by Boris Blažeković, Academy director and CPP parliamentary representative and Tomislav Stojak, councilman in the City of Zagreb's Assembly.

In a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere most of the discussion concerned the current political situation in Croatia, the process of Croatia's entering the European Union, the work and acting of CPP's Academy and the results of the local elections. At the end there was talk of the acting, priorities and ways of work of CPP's elected representatives in local communities.

"The very process of Croatia's entering the European Union has made us a better country, and we enter as a mid-developed country of Europe. I also wish that your country makes the effort and goes into the negotiation process", said Blažeković.

In the continuation the participants were interested in the work of the Political Academy through its six departments, as well as the possible further cooperation between the Academy and the AKR.

The delegation discussed the results of the local elections and the excellent result in executive authority, the measure of the call centre's help during the campaign, as well as the results in the City of Zagreb with Tomislav Stojak, a councilman in the City of Zagreb's Assembly.

"CPP has won 3 County Heads, 6 deputy County Heads, 11 Mayors, 18 deputy Mayors, 32 Municipality Heads and 34 deputy Municipality Heads after the local elections, which makes a grand total of 104 dignitaries in executive authority", said Stojak in conclusion.

The AKR delegation consisted of local councilmen Aziz Pacolli, Gjylgjyzare Karaxhija – Xharavina, Agim Berisha, Milazim Vitija and Fatmir Cacaj accompanied by Minira Citaku, coordinator of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation's programme for Priština and Dušan Dinić, regional coordinator of the Foundation's programme from Belgrade.
