Assigning Leader Award of ALDE group in the Committee of Regions in Brussels

Bruxelles, 25th April 2016 - On Monday, April 25th there will be awards ceremony of Leader organized by the ALDE group in the Committee of the Regions in Brussels.Annual Leader Prize is awarded in a number of categories for achievements in local politics, and affects liberals from cities and local units throughout Europe.

This year through the Political Academy, CPP has nominated two candidates for award Leader who have been, following the deliberations of the jury for the award LeaDeR, shortlisted as finalists for the awards and will be on April 25th in Brussels to participate in the ceremony of the winners.

Andrej Poropat, a councilor in the County Assembly of Primorsko-goranska County is a finalist in the category "The best election campaign", and for the nomination is responsible the election campaign for the elections for local councils in City of Rijeka, while in the category "Achievements in power" is shortlisted Kristijan Jurjako, mayor of Cres in the second term.

Prizes will be awarded at a ceremony in the Committee of the Regions. As a representative of the CPP's Political Academy, which nominated candidates and led nomination process, at the ceremony will be Goran Neralić, president of the International Education Center and an associate of CPP's Political Academy.
