Choosing a new leadership gives new momentum to the development of the European network of political foundations

Zagreb, 30th lipnja 2015. – In the premises of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Brussels on June 24th the annual General Assembly of the European network of political foundations (ENoP), who's a member is the International Education Center, was held.
General Assembly of ENoP was special because it symbolically marked the successful completion of the EU projects on the basis of which the activities were conducted within the network. During the eight years of existence, ENoP gave a significant contribution to the development of cooperation and dialogue between the European political foundations of different ideological orientations. In addition, ENoP has been recognized by the European Commission as an important player in supporting development and democracy around the world. Also, the European network of political fodacija has enabled the exchange of knowledge and experience between larger and smaller political foundations through various seminars and trainings.
During the General Assembly the new leadership of the network has been selected . In the next two years coordinator of ENoP will be Martin Angeby (SILC, Sweden), his deputy will be Dr. Arnold Kammel (Political Academy OVP, Austria), while about the finances will take care Rebecca Wagner (Heinrich Böll Stiftung, Germany).
With the support of IEC and other members of the network,ENoP has applied for EU funds intended for umbrella organizations and networks engaged in supporting the development of democracy. Competition results are expected later this year.
After the General Assembly, the training about advocacy and lobbying in the European Community was held. During the two-day program, participants learned how to effectively join the EU institutions, how to develop advocacy strategy and implement it through a complex organization such as ENoP.
International Education Center was represented by Goran Neralić, president of the association and associate of CPP's Political Academy.
