Spokesmen of county organizations sharpened existing skills and gained new knowledge

Zagreb, 10th November 2014. - Organized by CPP's Political Academy and PR office, last weekend in Zagreb seminar was held for spokesmen of CPP's county organizations and secretaries of the regional alliances on topic "Work of spokesman in the upcoming election year".
During the seminar, participants discussed important topics for the upcoming parliamentary elections, including the planning and installation of the election campaign and the role of new media in political campaigns. They discussed the current political situation, communication of the party towards media and the public, the use of social networks and channels, but also successful CPP's campaigns in certain cities and counties were presented.
The three-day meeting was an opportunity for sharpening existing skills, acquiring new knowledge and exchanging experiences. By participating in workshops CPP's spokesmen exchanged experiences in implementing campaigns in their counties.
On the last day of the seminar as a surprise guest arrived member of the Presidency of CPP, president of CPP's City organisation of Zagreb and the Minister of Construction and Physical Planning Anka Mrak Taritaš. Mrak Taritaš shared her experience of working with journalists and revealed the recipe of successful communication.
"You need to speak simply, clearly and loudly, and believe in what you say", said Anka Mrak Taritaš.
"The worst is when you promise something that does not happen. If you forgot to do what you have promised, apologize and say how things really are", said CPP's member of the Presidency saying that we should not promise hills and valleys, but only what is real and even less than that.
