Zagreb, 28th of July 2014 – Fourth department of the Academy for special programs prepared a plan and work program for the academic year 2014./2015. Seminars will be held once a month, and will be organized, as every year, for different target groups of party members.
Various themes of the seminar will educate women, youth, county spokeswoman, members of CPP's team, the members of the Presidency and members of parliament, presidents and secretaries of county organizations and regional alliances, as well as teachers of the Academy.
The first seminar will be held in September for members of Women's Initiatives of CPP entitled "Women and Rural Development". Education will be a prelude to the World Rural Women's Day with the aim of sensitizing the community on a large, but still unrecognized and unappreciated role of rural women and their contribution to the community.
Precisely with stated aim a meeting for this seminar was held in the Academy. One-day training will surely be held in Sisačko-moslavačka county, where the members of the Women's Initiative will get together and gain new knowledge and experience of the position and role of women in rural areas at the local, national and EU level.
The meeting was attended by Adelina Ivković, president of the Women's Initiative of Sisačko-moslavačka county, general secretary of the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Craft Violeta Jelić and Sonja König, President of the Women's Initiative of CPP and parliamentarian. Their host was Nina Ćorić from CPP's Political academy.
Each academic year the 4th department of the Academy for special programs begins its seminars with education of members of Women's Initiatives of CPP. By now CPP's women listened these thematic seminars: Women in election campaigns, Women and communication skills - the power of persuasion, Women and politics - local elections 2013th, Women and Entrepreneurship. On the field a series of training on "How to get EU funds" were held.
We are pleased to organize seminars for members of the Women's Initiative, because our girls led by Sonja König understand the value of education and of the Academy.
Bravo CPP, bravo Women's Initiative!
