Zagreb, 3rd of March 2014 – "Being MP is a big commitment, but also a great pleasure. Our actions in the Parliament represent ideas of CPP", said Marijan Škvarić to the members of CPP's Youth interest Committee of Varaždinska County during their visit to the Croatian Parliament within Academy's third department for the organizational strengthening of the party.
Škvarić acquainted everyone with the activities of MPs in the committees and explained one daily schedule of the parliamentarian. Igor Kolman sent a clear message how it is important to have a vision of what we want to achieve and reach for our goals by doing good for the community. He also pointed out that thanks to the media and their interpretation what the news is, some MPs are consciously speaking populist because they know that just such a message will reach the public through the media.
"CPP MPs are among the most active in Parliament, and the working atmosphere is good. You can be proud of our caucus", said the parliamentarian Sonja König. Addressing the youth König spoke about the ratio of women and men in the Croatian Parliament. She pointed out that out of 151 parliamentarian, 25 percent are women, and research on the work of the parliamentary representative, and politicians in general in Croatia goes in favor of women. It shows that women are more successful in politics, as can be seen from the results achieved in their communities. When asked about the birthrate of young Croatian, König connected all with medically assisted fertilization.
Youth of CPP also visited ceremonial hall "Ante Starčević" and followed the session of Parliament on the gallery. The session was led by Milorad Batinić, Vice President of the Croatian Parliament.
The next visit to the Academy will be held on Wednesday 9th April, when the Croatian Parliament and the premises of the Academy will visit CPP's members from Zagreb.
