Blažeković: Continuation of production and modernization of the Sisak refinery is of utmost importance.

Sisak, 30th of September 2014 – „The CPP's position with regards to closing of the Sisak refinery is clear. Our party shall defend the continued survival of the refinery and insist on its modernization", was the response of the MP and Head of the Political Academy of the CPP Boris Blažeković to the first question asked by citizens of Sisak.

"The CPP shall act according to the statements of the Minister of Economy and Vice-president of the party Ivan Vrdoljak. Continuation of production and modernization of the Sisak refinery is extremely important for the City of Sisak and Croatia", said Blažeković.

In addition to the issues concerning the refinery, the citizens were interested in other activities of the CPP in the City of Sisak. There was talk on the elections for Prefect in the Sisačko-moslavačka County and activities that the CPP will conduct in this regard.

Other events on the political scene were also analysed, including the Founding Assembly of the People's Party- Reformists. There were questions on the preparations for the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections, while citizens were most interested in the plan of activities.

With this event, the Second Department of the Academy for Additional Education in General Politics began the 2014/2015 academic year, which was hosted by Vlado Andučić, Deputy Mayor of Sisak and the President of the Sisak subsidiary and Ivan Nekvapil, President of the Sisačko-moslavačka County Organization of the CPP.
