"When voters begin to vote with reason and for utility, CPP will have the greatest support"

zadar 8 4Zadar, 9th of April 2014 – "If any of the parliamentary parties in Croatia deserved to have a representative in the EU parliament, then it is CPP", said Head of Academy and CPP's MP to the media in Zadar before the public tribune about the values of liberalism and liberal politics.


"Elections for the European Parliament are extremely important, and CPP as the liberal party deserved to have their representatives in the EU parliament. The value of ideas and liberal messages that are foundation of all CPP policies are also important for the EU, but at this time are more important for Croatia. CPP, since its inception, strongly advocated for Croatian accession to the EU. Efforts and activities of the president and all members of the CPP deserve to be rewarded by having representative in the EU parliament", noted Blažeković speaking about the importance of the EU elections.

"On this occasion I call all voters to be sure to come out to the European elections, as the EU Parliament passes laws and regulations that are ultimately related to each of our citizens. We all need to know that we live under the laws of which half are brought by the European institutions", concluded Blažeković.

Asked about the CPP and its position as the liberal party, Blažeković said how CPP is the largest and strongest liberal party in Croatia, the member of the European Liberal Party ALDE since 2001., and how the liberal option and foundations of liberalism are extremely important for the development of every country and society. Also, Blažeković said liberals everywhere, including Croatia, always are the voice of reason and the voice of rationality.

"The moment when in Croatia the voters start to vote with less emotion and pure cheering, and more with rationality, utility of the politics or of the parties, CPP will have the largest support from the public", concluded Blažeković.

Below CPP's MP started a public tribune on the fundamental principles of liberal politics, where he placed the value on freedom and responsibility.

"The goal of these tribune is to bring closer the correct liberal principles, among which the first one is the value of the individual. Unfortunately, recently the term 'liberal' is interpreted exclusively through the prism of neoliberal capitalism. CPP is here to approach the true values of liberalism", said Blažeković.

Speaking about the values of liberal policies, the head of the Academy said that only man is important and his freedom.
"For us it is important to get accurate information how the policy applies toward the man and his freedom. People have chosen state, so that same state must comply with all the rights that man as an individual possesses", said the head of the Academy.

According Blažeković liberal policy should be reaffirm, because the job is to provide good and prosperous life for each individual. "In the first plan must be individuals and entrepreneurs, and they must be in front of the state."

At the end they discussed the current political issues, as well as the situation in the party. It was particularly emphasized that the essential importance of branches and subsidiaries is to motivate each of our members to vote, and to give their preferential vote to Jozo Radoš.

A public tribune was held in cooperation with CPP's Zadarska organization and the second department of the Academy for advanced education in general policy.
