Blažeković: Everyone must take care of themselves and their destiny

boris gradjani web2Glina, 12th of March 2014 - As part of his discussions with the citizens which are held once a month as part of the Academy's 2nd Department for additional education in general politics, parliamentary representative and director of the Academy Boris Blažeković has talked to Glina's citizens.

 

 

 

The citizens were interested in current political subjects in the country. There was talk about the verdict to Ivo Sanader and CDC, the rebalance of the budget and the coming elections for the European parliament. Blažeković was also introduced to everyday problems of Glina's citizens concernig the return of refugees and their tenancy rights, the question of defender rights, Bosnian immigrants, as well as the problems for the Agency for Transactions and Mediation in Immovable Properties (APN) related to tenancy problematics which relate to property relations of the community.

The citizens of Glina were also active in questions in the field of agriculture and economy, where Blažeković highlighted that they are exclusively self-responsible for themselves and their families.

"Everyone in the country should turn to themselves, their families and be self-responsible for their own destiny. The state can help you in that context, but it can't make the decision for you", highlighted Blažeković.

What followed was an open and content filled discussion about the elections for the European parliament where Blažeković highlighted that the campaign for the EU elections is a chance for CPP to position itself even more and strengthen its rating.

The hosts of the discussion with the citizens of Glina were Diana Mužić, president of CPP Glina subsidiary and deputy Mayor of Sisak Vlado Andučić.

Blažeković said at the end that he would personally ask the questions in Croatia's parliament which concern the return of refugees and their tenancy rights, the question of defenders' rights, Bosnian immigrants, as well as the problem with the Agency for Transactions and Mediation in Immovable Properties (APN) related to the tenency problematic which relates to the property rights of the inhabitants of that community.
