Zagreb, 5th of October 2013 – "The local elections are won on the basis of the program, and it is exactly this program that marks the budget. I would compare the finalisation of the budget with a tug-of-war that marks the budget process that can very easily lead to snapping. It is important to note that the budget starts with the citizens, because County heads, Mayors and Municipality heads conceptualised the budget listening to the citizens during the election campaign, highlighted Snježana Sikirić, long-time Head of finances of the City of Crikvenica on the Academy's seminar about the budget in units of local self-governance.

Zagreb, 9th of July - The academic year began on the 1st of September, and ended on the 30th of June 2013, after which the already traditional, 8th in a row Academy meetings for all elected representatives in PL(R)SG were held. It is exactly the finished meetings which will constitute the beginning of the Academy's report for the next academic year 2013/2014 which begins on the 1st of September.
