The rain didn't surprise the CPP-ers – Tuhelj Spa resounded in orange attire!

Tuhelj Spa, 7th of July – “These are the first Meetings of CPP's Political Academy in the European Union and I pronounce them open“, said Vesna Pusić, president of CPP, officially opening the 8th Meetings of CPP's Political Academy for all elected representatives in PL(R)SG which were held in Tuhelj Spa this year.

What followed were greeting speeches by Boris Blažeković, the Academy's director and Anđelko Topolovec, president of CPP's Krapinsko-zagorska CO – the host County who have wished a pleasant stay and a successful sporting day in Tuhelj from the stage. All of CPP's COs participated in the Meetings. More than 1800 CPP-ers and party symphatizers came to compete and root for their teams.

However, after the opening of the games, rain hindered us and it was as though it didn't want us all to hang out. Under the motto “nothing must surprise us“, the courts were nevertheless opened, and when the sun started to shine, turned into bee hives. The competition had begun. Sport, laughter, fun, song and dancing. Tuhelj resounded! There was wholehearted and strong rooting, and a competitive, fair and correct spirit could be felt everywhere. The pleasant sound of VISs and KUDs from the stage were spreading throughout the Spa.

CPP's councilmen (athletes) competed in eighteen sport disciplines, and prizes for the best councilmen of all COs, the best Academy teacher, the best CO for carrying out field seminars, the best lecturer on seminars and rewards for special cooperation as part of the Academy were also handed out.

CPP's Political Academy has shown that much was done, and that more and better can be done. We hope that an even greater number of participants will take part in the Academy and its Meetings, both CPP party members and symphatizers.

We would like to thank once again everyone who came to magnify the Academy's Meetings, and indefinite thanks to CPP's Krapinsko-zagorska CO and the Tomićeva crew and CPP's Central Office.
