Vinkovci, January 24, 2017 – Vukovarsko-srijemska County organization presidency of CPP was held the presentation about Academy seminar "Smart cities".

Presentation about the concept and challenges of smart and sustainable cities was held by Tihana Papac, secretary and HNS Academy Vukovar-Srijem county lecturer. In her lecture, Papac said that the cities should become intersections of physical and virtual space with the precondition of infrastructure that has the main role in attracting people and in managing the city. The precondition for everything above is that the smart cities development is being observed through territorial wealth, tolerance, technology and talent.

Participants' feedback was very good with the conclusion of present experts who understand the idea that our society, especially east of Zagreb, is not yet mentally ready for something like that. The reason is that there is no enough strong critical society or one individual with a vision.
