In Opuzen about the preparations for the forthcoming local elections

opuzen1 webOpuzen, 9th of April – CPP's Dubrovačko-neretvanska organisation started educating its branches, after carrying out its education for all of its candidates on the forthcoming local elections.

 

CPP's Opuzen branch held an education for its members on the subject of the organisation of the campaign and communication with the media. Valentin Dujmović, vice-president of CPP's DubrovaĨko-neretvanska county organisation and secretary of CPP's Dalmatian regional alliance.

Speaking about the organisation of a local level campaign Dujmović said that a campaign goal must be defined as well as the steps to follow during the realisation of that set goal. In the continuation he spoke about the campaign plan which marks and serves as an orientation of exceptional invested efforts and organising everything possible in order to win the elections. At the end Dujmović spoke about strategic goals, priorities and measures in the campaign, about special events and branch activities, as well as the important role of the volunteers, and he concluded with the voters registry, the work of the call centre, the door-to-door campaign and the election day.

When he spoke about communication with the voters, Dujmović stated several methods of message transmission to a particular audience and those are by way of personal contact, mail, publishing a party bulletin, promotional materials, event organisation and pre-election gatherings, the call centre and the media. In communication with the local media he highlighted elements of political communication, in what way to act towards the media and stated that the local media "yearn" for local stories.

At the end Zdravko Ćulić, president of CPP's Opuzen branch, addressed everyone.

"I am a man with a decent political and life experience and i have been learning my whole life, especially now that I am surrounded by these young people", highlighted Ćulić.

All members of Opuzen branch's Presidency attended the education reinforced by young activists who are already included in the pre-election campaign, and it was concluded that the posture and approach of Opuzen's CPP will be a new experience for Opuzen's voters. Opuzen's CPP members will also, through the next few days, announce their election egress and make their candidates and programme for Opuzen's citizens known.
