Osijek, 27th of February – How to communicate with the media in the election year, in what way to reach the voters with one's message and organise the mobilisational activities within the electoral headquarters were the topics with which emphasis was put on political marketing in the local election campaign. Mijomir Grgurević, secretary of CPP's OsjeÄko-baranjska county organisation lectured on these topics.
Speaking about the organisation of the electoral headquarters and mobilisational activities in the campaign Grgurević talked a little more about communication and coordination of the candidates with the leader of the electoral headquarters and the PR office. Lecturing on the field campaign he highlighted multiple times the importance of the message which must be repeated constantly and consistently where he emphasised finding the best model of message dissemination by way of the local media, in the field and orally.
"The field campaign enables two-way communication with the voters, and it encompasses the engagement of members and symphatizers", said Grgurević.
Speaking about communication with the media and how to reach the voters with one's message, he highlighted a series of points which must be taken into account and repeated the importance of preparation several times. Here he held up on the roles of local portals and social networks with a special note on using the YouTube channel.
He finished his lecture with an example on the subject of a field campaign and voter mobilisation moderated by professor Marijana Grbeša on the Academy's seminar in Zagreb. The workshop was carried out on the principle of the "Get out the vote" campaign which is exclusively used to mobilise the field seven days before the election day.
The seminar was attended by CPP's OsjeÄko-baranjska county Presidency's members.
