Zagreb, 21st April 2015 – In Ljubljana, organized by LIBSEEN office, Novum Institute and with the support of VVD, from 17th to 19th April first LIBSEEN event was held in 2015. Representatives of the liberal parties in the region gathered to attend the meeting of Steering Committee and the training of public appearance by company Speech Republic from the Netherlands.
At the initiative of LIBSEEN office and the Croatian People's Party - Liberal Democrats, LIBSEEN Steering Committee which is composed of representatives of all members of LIBSEEN, is reconstituted after several years of hibernation.
Steering Committee in Ljubljana with representatives of VVD, D66 and NDI discussed the future and the strategic guidelines of the network of liberal parties in the region of the Western Balkans and on that occasion set a calendar of events for 2015, where it was decided that the remaining LIBSEEN events will be held in Romania and Bulgaria.
Besides the Steering Committee meeting, a two-day training seminar about public appearance called "Say it like a president" was held by company Speech Republic from the Netherlands and with the support of VVD. Representatives of the liberal parties in the region had the opportunity to hone their skills of public appearance and learn how to successfully establish a connection with the audience, convey key messages and achieve real impact. The fact that Speech Republic regularly trains the members of the Dutch government and members of parliament refers to the quality of training, and Ljubljana proved that the expectations of all participants were more than exceeded.
As representatives of the CPP in training participated Matija ZamljaĨanec, teacher of CPP's Political Academy of KoprivniĨko-križevaĨka county organization and Goran Neralić, head of LIBSEEN office, who moderated LIBSEEN Steering Committee meeting.
