glasnogovornici ozujak sljemeZagreb, 30th March 2015 - CPP's Political Academy in cooperation with CPP's PR Office last weekend organized a seminar for spokespersons of CPP's county organizations and secretaries of the regional alliances called "New Media in the context of preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections".

Education was held from 27th to 29th March at Hotel Tomislav Dom on Sljeme. This was the third in a series of seminars for spokespersons of county organizations held under the umbrella of the Academy in this academic year.

"I am very proud that my idea to establish spokespersons on a county level was realized, which is very cool", said in the introduction the head of the Political Academy of CPP and MP Boris Blažeković.

"The idea is for spokespersons to act as long arms of their presidents, and that they partake in the process of creating policies, without taking a leading role as this is not their function. When spokespersons start to take leading roles in politics they become presidents of county organizations, and sometimes heads of municipalities, prefects and MPs. This is a great function and spokespersons can be of great help to their county presidents", said Boris Blažeković who wished the participants a great seminar.

"This is an important seminar and I am glad that we have organized it as your job in the upcoming election campaign will be of crucial importance. The topic of the seminar is especially interesting as a political party uses more than media and direct contacts to communicate with its voters, it also employs new media", said the spokesperson of CPP and CPP's MP Igor Kolman.

„New media are a combination of classic types of media and a personal contact with voters, and all the details on using them you will learn from lecturers and workshops during this seminar. You should consider yourself a very important team for CPP in the upcoming period", concluded Kolman, while thanking spokespersons and regional secretaries who came from all over Croatia to partake in the training.

„You have a great political capital in Europe, and CPP in the region and beyond is one of the parties that has a great chance for future success and not just because of your president Vesna Pusić, but also due to young people who travel and work all across Europe", said the regional coordinator of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom for countries of Western Balkans Dušan Dinić who also participated in the weekend-seminar on Sljeme.

„I am very glad to be here among you spokespersons and I have a great respect towards people who stand in front of cameras and journalist representing their parties and programs. When something bad happens you are expected to respond", said Dušan Dinić adding that the Foundation will continue to work with CPP and the Academy.
On the seminar, spokespersons trained their skills of using new media while expanding their knowledge on how to speak to voters.

Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom for countries of Western Balkans is also the sponsor of the seminar, with the aim of better understanding the work and activities of our spokespersons.
