kraljevica jacanjeKraljevica, 28th of June, 2014 – Kraljevica was a host to the fifth CPP mini-assembly for representatives of party organizations from the Istarsko-primorsko-goransko-liÄko-senjski Regional Alliance of the CPP, which gathered around 300 hundred presidents of the CPP's subsidiaries, youth and women wings from the area of Primorsko-goranska, LiÄko-senjska and Istarska County.

„The idea is to analyze what was accomplished and to make a clear plan for the future, not just for the remainder of this Government's term, but also for the first great generational transition in Croatian politics. We are eager to promote a different kind of politics, a politics different to that of the local and party bosses, different to the politics of the '90-ies and to that of the beginning of the new millennia, which represent an obsolete model. New times call for a new method, a new energy and new capabilities of the party, which must open the political arena to the younger generations, as this is of utmost importance for the Croatian politics.", said the president of the CPP, the First Deputy PM and the Minister of the Foreign and European Affairs, Mrs. Vesna Pusić.

She added that these meetings taking place in all of the CPP's Regional Alliances have had a great impact and that she is proud of the Istarski-primorsko-goranski-liÄko-senjski Regional Alliance, which has implemented some positive changes and drawn in a number of young people into the CPP, making it one of the leading organizations of the CPP.

People like our hosts have shown that they know how and can work for the party and in the public offices to which they were elected. This is the profile of the people the CPP needs and promotes, as they are the true representatives of the strongest new generation of the CPP, said Mrs. Vesna Pusić.

"The very initiation of such a method of communicating has turned the trends in ratings of the party, as with more intensive communication efforts in the field, meetings and party talks our rating has begun to rise.", said the president of the CPP.

Vice-president of the CPP and the Minister of Economy, Mr. Ivan Vrdoljak said that this Regional Alliance has made the most significant organizational progress in the past few years and can be an example of how to successfully engage in politics, while making use of local results to boost the national efforts in the long term.

"In this region, the CPP has always been consistent and enjoyed a large support of the citizens, who recognized our commitment to long term policies rather that short term gains. Most important of these policies are the policy of protection of basic human rights and freedoms, policy of economic sovereignty, education and basic responsibility towards the people. Citizens of this region have recognized and supported our efforts. The CPP will continue to work on these policies and rather than giving into populism, strive towards the conduct of responsible politics.", said the President of the Regional Alliance, an MP and the Mayor of Kraljevica, Mrs. Nada Turina Äurić. She added that the CPP will continue to offer the citizens such a political program and projects, as this is the only way, if not particularly the easiest, to ensure a better tomorrow for them.

President of the CPP's Primorsko-goranska County Organization and Deputy Prefect of the County, Mr. Marko Boras said that the CPP's four ministers in the Government can be labeled as ministers of Rijeka, as they helped this area a lot during the course of their term, keeping an open door to all Heads of Municipalities from the Primorsko-goranska County. "The CPP measures its results in successful projects not empty promises. And our results in the Kvarner region will not fail to impress", said Boras Mandić.
