Zagreb, 16th of October 2013 - As part of the Academy's 3rd Department for the organisational strengthening of the party, dignitaries of CPP's Å ibensko-kninska County, on the Political Academy's invitation, visited Croatia's parliament.
Everyone present was greeted by Nina Ćorić from the Political Academy at the beginning, and, as is usual with these kinds of visits, after a tour of the parliament a session was participated in on the gallery which was led by vice-president of Croatia's parliament Milorad Batinić.
After the tour everyone present was greeted in the facilities of the Club by Jozo Radoš, president of the CPP Club and Petar Baranović, parliamentary representative, and also president of the Šibensko-kninska County Committee.
Jozo Radoš spoke about the work of the Club, parliamentary offices and committees, as well as the responsibilities and problems in work which accompany parliamentary representatives. He also introduced everyone to the work of the parliamentary representatives, that is the jobs they carry out, but which aren't visible to the public (committees).
"The job of parliamentary representatives is demanding and important, and it also greatly depends on initiatives from the field which are needed in order for the Club to function as best as possible. Including dignitaries and CPP members from COs can make an even larger contribution of the party itself", highlighted Radoš.
Petar Baranović was a true host. He started about the jurisdictions of units of local self-governance, and in the continuation introduced everyone present with the engagement of the Club which actively works on legislative proposals of the Law of spatial planning and the Law of construction. Also, a project is in preparation which regards the Law of strategic investments. As Baranović highlighted, it is important to define everything with new legislative proposals in order to be able to work further and act and for everyone to be satisfied.
"A balance must be found to everything in life, so in politics as well", concluded Baranović.
This is the first visit to Croatia's parliament in the 2013/2014 academic year, and the next, organised by the Political Academy, shall be held on the 23rd of October. We readily expect CPP's Brodsko-posavska CO!
