We must always put people first, because that is the only way to invest in social infrastructure", said Marijan Škvarić, CPP's MP and the Mayor of the City of Lepoglava on the public tribune on the local self-government with focus of applying for EU funds.

Marijan Škvarić CPP's policy consideres policy with content and emphasizes it must be invested in social infrastructure, and it is necessary that citizens do not pay high communal fees, contributions and other tax burdens. There is a better way, said Škvarić, and it consists of the use of European funds.

"The town of Lepoglava is an example of good practice, because more than 18 projects is financed from EU funds. In the economic part it means the development of our enterprise zone, in the communal part it means the development of infrastructure - sewer, roads, water, public lighting, and in the social part it means the construction of kindergartens, schools, community centers and culture centers", said Škvarić.

"With the right people it's easy to change things for the better! We thank everyone who came to listen a success story, one of the many that CPP has. We thank Mr. Škvarić, Mayor of Lepoglava in the fourth term on educational lecture and enthusiasm which was conveyed to us", noted Rengel and followed up on the words of MP that CPP's policy is a policy with the content.

"The policy with the content in Lepoglava means and over five-fold increase in the budget for the mandate of Mr. Škvarić, more than 100 million kunas of development projects that are currently in the implementation, work of schools in one shift, "European City of Sport for 2014 ", over 10 million kunas grant funding for energy efficiency, encouraging excellence, reducing unemployment by 17 percent in 2014. These are just some of the success of City of Lepoglava. Why should not we go down that road, why shouldn't we have the same", said Rengel.
