razgovor kutina 2014Kutina, 3rd December 2014. – "The first was to arrange and clean up the foundations, in order to have any chance to think about development, and then to run it", answered MP and head of CPP's Political Academy Boris Blažeković on the first question of citizens of Kutina regarding Petrokemija.

For further questions regarding Petrokemija, Blažeković said how in conversations with Minister of Economy and Vice President of CPP Ivan Vrdoljak gained confidence that with the privatization in the near future, successful operation and further development is expected, especially after the expected decline in gas prices.

Citizens were interested in the current political situation in Croatia, but also in topics of local government reform and the release of Vojislav Šešelj from the Hague detention. They asked specific questions related to pre-bankruptcy settlement, the reform of public and state administration, the problems in the financing of civil society organizations in local communities as well as the injustices in society, all that Blažeković will ask in the Croatian Parliament.

The conclusion of conversation is that Blažeković must continue with such visits of all cities and municipalities in Sisačko-moslavačka county as CPP's MP from VI. constituency, to explain the work of the Croatian Parliament, the role of representatives and work in parliamentary committees to the citizens and residents of the county but also to listen and help solve the problems people have in their local and regional government, as he does for three years for citizens of Sisak.

"The conversations showed that citizens of the VI. constituency care about what is going on across the country, especially in their local communities. Unfortunately, we are not yet aware how important is the personal involvement of each of us, because to be only an observer, and not a participant in the development, significantly slows down the development of that same society at all levels", noted Blažeković in the discussion.

With this event the 2nd Department of the Academy for advanced education in general policy finished its events in 2014, and the host of the entire event was Ivan Nekvapil, president of CPP's subsidiary Kutina and president of Sisačko-moslavačka county organization.
