Sisak/Caprag, 4th of February 2014 - As part of his discussion with Sisak's citizens which are held once a month as part of the Academy's 2nd Department for additional education in general politics, parliamentary representative and director of the Academy Boris Blažeković visited the citizens of the Caprag subsidiary of CPP's Sisak branch.
In the filled facilities, there was talk about current political subjects, and Blažeković answered questions about the current political situation in Croatia and CPP. In the continuation, an open and content-filled discussion followed through which questions of initiating business activities were evaluated, as well as the means which are at the disposal through various institutions of the state. Also, there was talk about the advantages which Croatia has from its NATO membership and the possibilities which enterpreneurs have after Croatia's accession.
Neither was the subject of decentralisation overlooked in which most of the participants participated, along with Blažeković. The president of CPP's sisačko-moslavačka CO and deputy Head of sisačko-moslavačka County Ivan Nekvapil pointed to a need of rapid change in the area on the example of the county, and everything with the goal of higher efficiency of units of local self-governance.
The president of the Caprag subsidiary Milorad Marinković introduced CPP's parliamentary representative with the history of this part of the city, the work and results of CPP's subsidiary in the area, as well as all carried-out actions and plans for the forthcoming period. After a thanks for the visit and a content-filled discussion one of the heads of the Caprag subsidiary Mijo Džafo asked for a visit by the members of the subsidiary to be organised to Croatia's parliament and CPP's Political Academy, which was gladly accepted by the parliamentary representative.
Another successful, creative and content-filled discussion which has enriched the membership and symphatizers of CPP with new insights, and introduced Blažeković with the everyday problems and needs of citizens in the field.
