boris webZagreb, 20th of March – CPP's parliamentary representative Boris Blažeković talks with Zagreb's citizens every month about their life problems, that is the problems in their city quarter.

The topic of Monday's discussion was the non-payment of a reimbursement for work, that is the possibility of not receiving a pay-check for work-offed labour. Namely, the citizens don't want to feel sorry, rather, they want to take certain concrete steps for the solution of the problem regardless of their psychic states which are disturbed by worry and a feeling of exploiation, and their anxiety is only deepened by the bank's summons.

Blažeković concretely answered that Croatia's parliament has made a decision that the act of non-payment of a paycheck is now considered a criminal offense.

"The fact is that the economic situation in the country is bad, but that doesn't justify anyone. An employer can be reported, because he isn't allowed to not pay-out his workers. Such enterpreneurs have, thusfar, fled abroad, however, today we can put an end to that", said Blažeković.

There was also talk of applying for positions in firms which are in which are in receivership. Blažeković then explained that receivership today isn't the same thing it was a few years ago. Receivership procedures serve for the restructuring of the firm and their reactivation and encouraged the citizens not to hesitate in applying for a position in such firms. In further conversation he suggested the possibility of helping the owner in some way, in case there is a real problem, because if there is a large number of employees, there certainly are ways to indirectly help them.

At the end, the citizens thanked CPP's parliamentary representative Blažeković for his time and will to help.
