Zagreb, 5th of April 2014 – Dutch Liberal Party (VVD) supported the CPP's campaign for EU elections and made it clear that the CPP's messages are liberal and concrete. With joint forces Jozo Radoš, president of CPP's MP Club and CPP's candidate on elections for European Parliament and VVD coach Kamran Ullah approached CPP's campaign for Europe to participants.
"With clear and concrete strategy for the EU elections CPP runs a practical campaign with the goal to raise awareness about participating in elections. It is important to tell the citizens that these elections for the European Parliament will decide who will be the people who are going to make decisions on 50 percent of the rules by which we live. If a small country like Croatia has a clear strategy, then it is certain that what we want can be achieved within the ALDE party in the EU parliament", said Jozo Radoš.
As Radoš said, ALDE party represents the liberal-democratic values in Europe. Together with the national liberal parties across the European continent ALDE implements the principles of freedom and responsibility in politics, economics and all other areas of life. ALDE is committed to European integration and the European single market, as well as for the rights of individuals and minorities.
Below Radoš said that, if elected, he will as the member of the ALDE Group represent the general attitude of Liberals with a focus on economy, energy, free markets, and telecommunications.
"Personally, I will put emphasis on the economy, energy, free markets, electrocommunications and some things that are related to our region", he concluded.
As the campaign for the EU elections officially begins in 48 hours,VVD coach Kamran Ullah set up the CPP campaign strategy considering key messages. He stressed out conditions before going into campaign. They include goals, polls and defining the messages that must be liberal, short and oriented towards the future.
"CPP's specific messages on topics of economy, energy, free markets and electrocommunications are excellent. You already have them and they are being repeated. You have to use them over and over again in a campaign", said Ullah.
Also,VVD coach pointed out that the same message can be presented in different ways to different target groups, so that all kind of voters will be able to recognize it.
"Establishing a relationship with voters and potential voters is the key to the success of a good campaign. The goal is to gain their attention and trust, and to convince people to go out and vote on election day", noted Ullah.
"What is more important than campaign finance, is to be creative! With the help of new social media, it is possible and available. Use the new social media", said Ullah and analyzed website and facebook page of our candidates Radoš and Vučić.
Also Ullah held two workshops in which the VVD coach divided participants into four working groups. In the first workshop, the group had to briefly and clearly convey already defined CPP messages to voters. In the second workshop, participants had to define how to explain these messages to the different target groups.
The seminar was organized in cooperation of Academy and the Dutch liberal party VVD. Once again thank you VVD for democracy and freedom and thank you Kamran Ullah on a great education and conducted workshops on campaign strategies. We can only conclude it was useful and concrete.
