Sveti Križ Začretje, 5th of April – "Members of electionary committees, poll coordinators, as well as poll transport coordinators are the most important people of the election day. Without them an election day cannot be carried out", said Anđelko Topolovec, president of CPP's Krapinsko-zagorska county organisation and candidate for Head of Municipality on the forthcoming local elections on a lecture as part of the Academy about preparing for the local elections.

Speaking in great detail about the election day, Topolovec explained in the continuation that electionary committee members are in charge of supervising the elections' regularity, as well as the sending of reports. Every poll must have a mini headquarters organised, and every poll coordinator should know the number of voters and follow the voter response rate at their poll.

"The list of secured and potential voters is the foundation of the campaign, as well as a well carried out election day. Voter response controls in the agreed upon time period must be informed to the county electionary headquarters", concluded Topolovec and finished with a quote by Abraham Lincoln.

"Organise the entire country so that every symphatizer of the party can be brought to their poll. Make a precise list of all voters and estimate with great certainty who they will vote for. Constatly supervise the undecided voters and make sure that they talk to those in whom they have the most trust. Make an effort that every symphatizer gets out to the poll on election day." – Abraham Lincoln

At the end, Marija Puh, secretary of CPP's Northwest-Croatia region, introduced everyone present with the way of voting on the European parliamentary elections which bring a complete novelty in the way of voting itself regarding the technique of the "preferential vote". As Puh said, Croatia's citizens will choose a single party option, and then choose the candidates for which they will vote.

The seminar was held for the candidates on the forthcoming local elections, branch presidents and secretaries, and members of Krapinsko-zagorska county's Presidency also attended.
