Sunja, 12th of March – The Presidency members of CPP's Sisačko-moslavačka county organisation, candidates on the forthcoming local elections, as well as other dignitaries attended an interesting lecture about the role of political marketing for the local elections moderated by the Academy's teacher Marija Bilman.
"The importance of an election strategy, the organisation of the electoral headquarters, communication with the media and mobilisational activities in the campaign, are important chapters of political marketing", said Bilman at the beginning of the lecture.
Speaking about the field campaign she highlighted the importance of the message multiple times which must be repeated constantly and consistently where she emphasised the finding of the best model of message dissemination by way of local media, in the field and word-of-mouth.
"The field campaign enables two-way communication with the voters, and it encompasses the engagement of members and symphatizers. In this two-way process of communication voters have an increasing desire to communicate using new media through various internet platforms", highlighted Bilman.
During the pre-electoral campaign for the forthcoming local elections due to be held on the 19th of May, the subject of political marketing has caused great attention from all attendees, especially the candidates on the local elections, and it was concluded that creativity, the message to the voters, the general impression of the candidates and a call to vote, will have a significant impact on the final result.
