Rijeka, 28th of February – Workshops on the subject of local elections are being held in Primorsko-goranska county, it is planned to hold them all the way through to the beginning of the elections.

On the workshops held up to the present there was talk about the electoral campaign itself, the importance of a campaign strategy, as well as the financing of the political campaign with a glance on the Law of financing. The importance and engagement of volunteers wasn't omitted, as well as the technical matters in a campaign related to the smallest details.

The third scheduled workshop was held in Rijeka yesterday where a training on the subject of the personalised campaign (candidate profiling) was held for mayors and county heads.

There were also conceptions of pre-electoral messages, because the candidates are aware that a well-defined campaign message gets 80% of the job done. There was a repeated statement on the workshop of the fact that a pre-electoral message is the entire story of the campaign, not just the slogan. The next scheduled workshop will be held on the subject of negotiation skills.

The workshops are held for the branches which will run independently in the elections, and they are moderated by Žarko Stilin, secretary of CPP's Istarsko-primorsko-goransko-ličko-senjska region all under the watchful eye of the leader of Primorsko-goranska county's electoral HQ Marko Boras – Mandić.
